Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will Preventure sell my contact information or email address?
No. Preventure uses your contact and other information solely to provide the services and information you request. Occasionally, we may send you a promotional offer for products or services of a Preventure partner. These offers come from Preventure, and your contact and other information is not provided to our partners. We may transmit your basic contact information to a third party acting as our agent (including fitness clubs at which you are a member) specifically for the purpose of fulfilling any items you have ordered, including emails, physical product, or membership services. We may also share your contact information with the employer, insurer or group with whom you claim eligibility to verify your eligibility to use this Site and to receive the benefits of Preventure’s goods and services. Finally, Preventure may share your data with trusted partners, or trusted partners of your employer, to perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail regarding related wellness services, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited, by contractual relationship with Preventure or your employer, from using your personal information except to provide these services. Any third party that receives such data is contractually bound through an agreement with Preventure or your employer and required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
2. How do I opt out of receiving promotional offerings or having my information
disclosed to 3rd parties?
You may opt out of receiving promotional offerings from us or having information disclosed to third parties, by contacting Preventure directly at the time of registration or at any time at: kwebster@preventure.com.
We respect your time and only want to send you promotional and education materials if you desire them. Remember, however, that even if you opt out of receiving promotional and educational materials, you will still be sent material that has a direct impact on your ongoing business relationship with us (such as guest passes which you request, order confirmations, letters apprising you of changes to your membership, or occasional surveys or communications designed to improve customer satisfaction).
3. I have opted out, but I still keep getting emails. Why is this happening?
If you have opted out of receiving promotional materials, your request may take up to seven (7) business days to take effect. You may continue to receive emails from us during this time. Furthermore, while you may no longer be receiving promotional offers from us, you may still receive offers about us which are sent by your employer, insurer, or group. Finally, you may also receive emails from parties related to us to whom you have separately given your contact information to. We are not responsible for such other parties, and you may need to contact these other parties to be removed from their lists.
