Creating healthy employees AND healthy bottom lines.

The best measure of a successful corporate wellness program is the effect it has on a company’s bottom line. Done right, a wellness program engages employees and has a positive impact on their health. And healthier employees impact a company’s profitability. It’s really that simple.

What’s not as simple is knowing if your wellness program is getting the return you want. At Preventure we pride ourselves on providing our clients with the information they need to know. We do this using our Wellness Data Warehouse that tracks client specific ROW (what we like to call Return on Wellness). This proprietary, first of its kind tool is used to track:

  • Biometric data
  • Health risk change
  • Overall engagement
  • Client-specific health care costs

We also track participation, utilization and engagement rates for all services using a blend of technology and personnel driven reporting tools. All this data is then synthesized in our Wellness Data Warehouse that allows us to clearly and accurately report on aggregate participation and track how participants change/improve over time. Most importantly, we are able to link participation and compliance with client costs (including health care costs and pharmaceutical costs) to document client specific ROI.

Our program has helped one client’s lifestyle related claims decrease by 33%, translating to a direct savings of $329,717. Circulatory claims decreased by 55%, translating to a direct savings of $479,426. Combined, this company saw a conservative documented ROI of $809,143. This represents a return of 608% for each dollar invested!
